Learn how to make Chicken Lollipop From Scratch. Chicken lollipop is popular in an Indian Chinese cuisine. Chicken lollipop is, essentially a chicken winglet, where in the meat is cut loose from the bone end and pushed down creating a lollipop appearance. It is usually served hot with Szechuan sauce
INGREDIENTS FOR CHICKEN LOLLIPOP: MARINATION: Salt to taste 1/2 tsp black pepper powder 1/2 tsp red chili powder 1 tsp vinegar 1 tsp soy sauce 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
FOR BATTER: Salt 1/4 tsp or to taste 1/4 tsp black pepper powder 1 egg 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 4 tbsp. corn flour Cold water as required Fresh bread crumbs as required
OTHER: Oil for frying
DIRECTIONS:
1.Wash and prepare lollipops as shown in the video.
2.Marinate chicken lollipops with salt, black pepper, red chili, vinegar, soy sauce and ginger garlic paste. Marinate for 30 minutes. 3.Meanwhile, prepare batter. In a bowl, add all-purpose flour, corn flour, salt and pepper. Mix well, and then add egg and water. Combine to a semi thick batter just like a pancake. 4.Now dip one by one chicken lollipop into this batter and then coat with bread crumbs. 5.Heat oil in a large skillet to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) or medium high heat. 6.Deep fry chicken lollipops in oil until done, about 8-10 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet or deep fryer and drain on paper towels. 7.Serve with ketchup or chili garlic sauce. 8.Enjoy and Good Luck!
TIP:
Buy small chicken wings, smaller the size tastier the chicken lollipop will be.
